Pacific Overtures opened this weekend and played three stellar shows. The reviews came pouring in! Aside from the rather glowing reviews by the professionals (which you can read in The Tennessean, ArtNowNashville,BroadwayWorld, and The Nashville Scene) we’re especially proud of the great audience feedback that the show has been receiving. The buzz on the web is just continuing to build, so hear what other audiences are saying!

“If you are looking for something positively brilliant to do in Nashville, I highly recommend attending Pacific Overtures by Sondheim, presented by Blackbird Theater. This show is a little bit Kabuki, a little bit Broadway, and totally Stephen Sondheim! We had so much fun tonight”

“Thank you, for assembling an amazing cast and production team – and introducing me (and the rest of Nashville) to this wonderful show”

“Don’t walk, RUN, RUN, RUN, to see Pacific Overtures!!!!” “Very, very impressive theatre. Not only did I understand the show, I liked it! A lot! Go see it, you don’t have the chance to see Pacific Overtures that often, unless you drive 400 plus miles”

“Beautiful show, Blackbird. I am so proud of all of you. I cannot wait for everyone else I know to experience this show. Great work!”

“Entertaining and accessible!”

“Who knew I liked theater? Great job Blackbird Theater w/ Pacific Overtures
